The dedicated intravenous module in the StatPacks G3+ cell system — a semi-rigid, foam-moulded cell measuring 12 in. × 7 in. × 6 in., about 1.25 lb empty, with 390 cu. in. Of volume. Full-length zippers lay the lid flat, a clear mesh side window identifies the solution without opening it, and the moulded frame lets the cell double as a pressure bag. It ships as a cell only — no IV supplies of any kind are included.

A soft pouch reorganizes itself every time the bag is thrown into a rig. A moulded cell does not — which is the only reason a provider can find a 20-gauge by feel on the third call of the shift.

Yes. The G3+ IV Cell's semi-rigid foam-molded frame doubles as a pressure bag for rapid fluid infusion — the rigid structure provides the support needed to apply controlled manual pressure to an IV bag inserted in the cell, achieving pressure-driven flow rates significantly exceeding gravity infusion. A dedicated area within the cell accommodates a standard pressure gauge for monitored pressure infusion. This is particularly valuable during hemorrhagic shock management requiring rapid volume resuscitation.

What G3+ bags is the StatPacks IV Cell compatible with?

The G3+ IV Cell is compatible with all StatPacks G3+ and G4 packs, including the G3+ Perfusion Backpack, and also fits most standard EMT jump bags available in the market. It was also designed to fit the Generation 1 Perfusion and Backup EMS Backpacks. The Velcro-backed design installs into any bag with hook-and-loop interior lining strips and can be stacked with other G3+ cells for a complete modular supply system.

How does the clear mesh window on the IV Cell work?

The clear mesh window is located on the side of the IV Cell and provides a view into the cell's IV bag storage compartment without opening the cell. This allows providers to visually confirm the type of IV solution loaded — normal saline (NS), lactated Ringer's (LR), D5W, etc. — before initiating IV therapy, preventing administration of the incorrect fluid type in time-critical resuscitation scenarios. The window also makes restocking confirmation easier between calls.

Does the StatPacks G3+ IV Cell include medical supplies?

No. The G3+ IV Cell is sold as an empty module only. No IV catheters, drip sets, IV fluid bags, needles, or start kits are included. Contents shown in product photographs are for representation only.
