The vacuum-packed format keeps the kit extremely compact — a critical advantage when bag or vest-pocket space is limited — while maintaining long-term sterility and protecting components from environmental contamination in field storage. Note: the hard-case version has been discontinued by the manufacturer; only the vacuum-packed version is available.
The w/Tracheal Hook variant adds TacMed's proprietary tracheal-hook tool alongside the serpent hook, giving an additional instrument for membrane retraction and tube guidance — eliminating the need to source a tracheal hook separately. Providers can select the variant appropriate to their training and technique preference.
