Key Features
Dual Compartment Design
Two independently accessible pockets allow operators to separate bleeding-control (tourniquet, gauze, chest seal) from airway and IV supplies — reducing errors under stress.
Tegris® Panel Connector
The connecting piece made from Tegris® (Milliken SRPP — self-reinforced polypropylene) mounts under any TT plate carrier via hook-and-loop. Interchangeable and removable.
Bi-Directional Panel Pull-Out
The customizable internal panel can be extracted from either side, regardless of how the pouch is mounted — compatible with right- or left-handed access.
IRR-Compatible Materials
Available in IRR (Infrared Reflectance) versions meeting German Bundeswehr standards TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281 (IRR 650–1250nm / 10–42%).

Compliance Notice: Tasmanian Tiger products are manufactured to German Bundeswehr standards. "CoTCCC-recommended" refers to the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care's recommended supply list — this product is a carrier system, not a regulated medical device. MED-TAC International Corp. (tactical-medicine.com) is an authorized distributor. Product specifications subject to change; verify current specs at time of order.
When to Choose the TT IFAK Pouch Dual
- Plate Carrier Under-Carrier Mount — The Tegris® hook-and-loop connector allows mounting directly under a plate carrier, keeping the IFAK out of the way while remaining immediately accessible.
- Segregated Trauma Kit — Compartmentalize hemorrhage control (front) from airway/IV (rear) — enables protocol-driven access during MARCH/TCCC patient care.
- Buddy-Aid Configuration — Designed for removal and use by a buddy — the dual-compartment design allows a buddy to grab exactly the right pouch without confusion.
- Extended Patrol / Low-Profile — Slim 3.5 cm profile fits under carriers where a standard IFAK would add unacceptable bulk.
TT IFAK Pouch Dual vs. Alternatives
- vs. TT IFAK Pouch (Standard) — Standard is a single clamshell; Dual provides two separate compartments for organized segregation of supply categories. Dual is slimmer but taller (11 × 20 × 3.5 cm).
- vs. Eleven 10 Rigid IFAK — Eleven 10 uses rigid molded construction for shape retention; TT Dual uses CORDURA for lighter weight and flexibility with Tegris® rigidity at the mounting interface.
- vs. NAR M-FAK Mini — M-FAK is a complete kit; TT IFAK Dual is a carrier system you fill — preferred by operators who choose their own CoTCCC-recommended supplies.
- vs. Velocity Systems MOJO Pouch — Velocity MOJO uses tear-away; TT Dual retains the pouch body for re-stocking. TT adds the Tegris® connector for plate carrier integration.
Frequently Asked Questions — TT IFAK Pouch Dual
Q: What is Tegris® and why does it matter?
A: Tegris® is a thermoplastic composite (SRPP — self-reinforced polypropylene) made by Milliken. It offers very high impact resistance and rigidity at low weight. Tasmanian Tiger uses an 8-ply or 12-ply version as a structural connecting piece that maintains panel shape when mounted under a plate carrier.
Q: Can the dual compartments be used independently?
A: Yes. Each compartment has its own closure and pull-out panel, allowing independent access without disturbing the other compartment's contents.
Q: Is this compatible with non-TT plate carriers?
A: The Tegris® hook-and-loop panel mounts to any surface with a compatible hook-and-loop interface (Velcro front). MOLLE adapters are available for PALS-only systems.
Q: Does the Dual work under a non-TT plate carrier?
A: Yes — the Tegris® connecting piece uses a standard hook-and-loop interface. Any plate carrier with a soft (loop) backing panel will accept the Dual's Tegris® connector.
