TONIC 43L Rescue Bag

A 43-liter rescue backpack built to take Dimatex's MASH, TRASH, PATCH and SNAKE modules. It ships with five CRISTAL transparent pouches and a removable PATROL front pocket, and adds an integrated winch and helicopter ring, a three-position CHECK gas detector mount, a fluorescent orange interior and sealable double zipper sliders. Choose 1680D polyamide in three colors or Red PVC. Sold empty.

What is the difference between Red PVC and the other versions?

SEC1538 Red PVC is made from PVC fabric instead of 1680D polyamide. Both fabrics are waterproof, antistatic and bacteriostatic. The 43 L volume, 15.7 × 15.7 × 10.6 in dimensions, 6.6 lb (3 kg) weight, carry system, winch and helicopter ring, CHECK mount, CRISTAL pouches and PATROL pocket are the same on all four versions.

What ships with the bag?

The TONIC bag, five CRISTAL transparent pouches (four size S, one size M), the removable PATROL front pocket, the double-sided elasticated interior divider and the removable shoulder strap. No medical supplies are included.

Which Dimatex modules fit inside?

TONIC is compatible with the Dimatex MASH, TRASH, PATCH and SNAKE modules, and with the CHECK gas detector mounting system on the outside. Those modules are separate Dimatex products. Inside, the double-sided elasticated divider and the five supplied CRISTAL pouches handle organization.

How is it carried?

Three ways. As a backpack on concealable, height-adjustable anatomical shoulder straps with a load-lifter strap and chest strap. On the shoulder with the removable strap. By hand on the molded non-slip handle. A trolley attachment system is also built in for mounting the bag on a trolley.

Can the main zipper be sealed?

Yes. The main closure uses double 12-gauge YKK aluminium sliders with pull tabs, and they are sealable with a tamper seal. That lets a service confirm the bag has not been opened since it was last checked and restocked.
