evidence-based evaluation applies to the C-A-T® tourniquet and QuikClot® Combat Gauze® XL. It does not extend to the ARS® needle decompression device, the vented or non-vented HyFin® seals, the nasopharyngeal airway, the Guedel airway, the burn dressings or the splint. Each USMC HyFin® combo pack holds one vented and one non-vented seal. Provider scope: the ARS® needle decompression devices and both airway adjuncts are for trained personnel operating within their own scope of practice and local protocols, and the ARS® is restricted to sale by or on the order of a licensed practitioner. The manifest above mirrors the issued kit, which is the point — restocking to it preserves the exact equipment profile the CLS operator trained on.
