Warrior Aid Litter Kit (WALK)

The US Army's vehicle life-saving kit: a TALON II 90C quad-fold Safe-to-Fly litter, a Hypothermia Prevention and Management Kit, and a multi-casualty trauma load in one bag. It treats several casualties and evacuates one, and the litter interfaces with any standard or non-standard TACEVAC asset.

Ground-vehicle crews — the kit's purpose-built role, one bag per vehicle that both treats and evacuates · Combat medics and Combat Lifesavers working a casualty from point of wounding to the evacuation platform · Coalition and law enforcement units that need treatment and evacuation capability in a single line item.

Nasopharyngeal airway placement and needle decompression are provider-scope interventions. They require training, credentialing and authorization under local protocol — carrying the kit does not confer the scope to use every item in it.
