PRODUCT INFORMATION
MED-TAC International · Junctional Hemorrhage Bundle
Wound Clamp Pack Duo
The ITClamp® mechanical wound-closure device paired with two North American Rescue Wound Pack Gauze packets — two complementary approaches to the bleeding a tourniquet cannot reach. The clamp approximates wound edges and builds a stable hematoma; the gauze packs deep cavities the clamp cannot cover. SKU BNDL-HEMO-001.

Neck, groin, axilla and trunk are where a tourniquet has nothing to squeeze. Carrying only a tourniquet is a plan for the bleeding that is easiest to stop.

Kit Contents

One configuration, three items. The first section is what ships; the second describes what each component is for, because the two tools solve the same problem in different ways. Tap a section.

VIEW ▾What Ships — three components
  • 1× ITClamp® hemorrhage control device · mechanical wound-edge approximation via micro-locking teeth
  • 2× NAR Wound Pack Gauze · compressed, vacuum-sealed PLAIN gauze — contains no hemostatic agent
VIEW ▾What Each Component Does — two approaches to one problem
  • ITClamp® — closes the wound opening with micro-locking teeth and creates a stable pressurized hematoma, controlling bleeding until surgical care. Suited to neck, groin, axilla and scalp wounds where packing and sustained pressure are hard to maintain through movement or transport. Trained providers only.
  • ITClamp® — bridges the gap between junctional tourniquet capability and direct pressure or packing, in anatomy where neither works well alone.
  • NAR Wound Pack Gauze — deep wound packing for cavities too large or irregular for clamp coverage alone. Packing followed by sustained direct pressure remains foundational in MARCH hemorrhage management.
  • NAR Wound Pack Gauze — two packets give redundancy for a second wound, or for repacking when the first packing saturates.

Specification Detail
Assembled by MED-TAC International
SKU BNDL-HEMO-001
Category Bleeding control bundle
Contents 1 × ITClamp® hemorrhage control device + 2 × NAR Wound Pack Gauze
ITClamp® mechanism Mechanical wound-edge approximation; creates a stable hematoma
NAR Wound Pack Gauze Compressed, vacuum-sealed, highly absorbent gauze for wound packing
Hemostatic agent None — the gauze is plain
Application Junctional and open-wound hemorrhage; wounds not amenable to a tourniquet
Target users Tactical medics, military, EMS and law enforcement with advanced hemorrhage training

Neither component in this bundle is a CoTCCC-recommended device. The NAR Wound Pack Gauze is plain compressed gauze and contains no hemostatic agent — if your protocol calls for a hemostatic, add one; it layers over this bundle without rework. Wound sites suited to this pairing include cervical and neck wounds, the groin and femoral triangle, the axilla and subclavian region, large scalp lacerations, and large open soft-tissue wounds.

Who Carries It

Tactical medics and military providers carrying a junctional capability alongside their tourniquets · EMS and law enforcement responders with advanced hemorrhage-control training, for scenes where packing must survive extrication and transport · Anyone upgrading an existing kit at the junctional position, which is where most builds are thinnest.

The ITClamp® is intended for use by trained providers and is not a lay-responder device — placement and the decision to use it over packing are clinical judgments governed by your training, protocols and medical direction. Wound packing with plain gauze needs firm continuous manual pressure to work; the gauze does nothing on its own.
