A Deployable Trauma Bay in a Wearable Footprint

The CITADEL · MED-LINE is built to fill the role of a deployable trauma bay in a wearable footprint. The clamshell book-fold opening on the PARAMED XL chassis solves the most common failure mode in trauma-kit deployment: provider cognitive overload while searching for the right item under time pressure. With every module visible on a single plane, the provider sees the entire kit at once and reaches for the correct module without unzipping multiple compartments.

Component selection follows the CoTCCC-recommended equipment list. The NAR CAT Gen 7 and TacMed SOF-T Wide are the two windlass tourniquets on the current CoTCCC-recommended list; QuikClot Combat Gauze (kaolin-based) is the CoTCCC-recommended hemostatic; HyFin Vent Twin is one of the CoTCCC-recommended vented chest seals. The kit ships with the M9 cylinder and 500 mL IV positions reserved and labeled — the cylinder and IV solution are not shipped, and the buyer adds them at fielding through a local DME provider or pharmacy. MED-LINE vs. OP-LINE

Same contents, different chassis. MED-LINE uses the Elite Bags PARAMED XL clamshell platform in high-visibility colors (Black, EMS Red), optimized for civilian, EMS, school nurse, workplace, and conventional rescue roles. The CITADEL · OP-LINE uses the Tasmanian Tiger Modular Medic Pack 38 — a 38-liter MOLLE-distributed tactical platform in subdued colorways (Black, Ranger Green, Multicam), optimized for LE, federal, and DoD-adjacent roles. The medical capability is identical.
