PRODUCT INFORMATION
Safeguard Medical · K9 Trauma Kit
MOJO Working Dog First Aid Kit
A medic-grade canine trauma system for law-enforcement K9 handlers, military working-dog teams and tactical handlers. It covers the injuries that actually kill a working dog — extremity hemorrhage, penetrating chest trauma and hypothermia — with responder-grade components sized and shaped for canine anatomy, plus a K9 TCCC reference card for handlers without veterinary training.
K9 TCCC organizedSWAT-T™ + Russell Chest SealsRectal thermometer + 10 covers5.0 lb · 3 colorways

Human tourniquets do not hold on a tapered canine limb and human chest seals are cut for human thoracic geometry. Species-matched gear is the difference between treating the dog and rehearsing on it.

Kit Contents

One loadout in three colorways — Black, Coyote Tan and Multicam. Contents are identical across all three. The list below is grouped by the K9 TCCC MARCH phases rather than printed as one block. Tap a section.

Intended users Law-enforcement K9 units, military working-dog handlers, tactical K9 teams

K9 TCCC applies the MARCH sequence to canine casualties — Massive hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia — with interventions adapted to canine anatomy and physiology.

Who Carries It

Military working-dog handlers and MWD medics · law-enforcement K9 units treating at the point of injury during active-threat incidents, high-risk operations or vehicle accidents · search and rescue dog handlers working wilderness and disaster environments where hemorrhage control and thermoregulation matter most · protection-sport and competition handlers with high-drive dogs in contact training · K9 EMS and veterinary field teams standardizing a kit before veterinary handoff.

Scope of practice: the PneumoDart is a needle decompression device. Use is appropriate only for handlers or providers trained and authorized to perform the procedure on a canine patient. For a non-working household pet, a simpler first aid kit is usually the better match.
