The Bleeder Pouch is a dedicated hemorrhage-control pouch built to open flat and hand you everything at once. It runs an interior Tegris panel — a thermoplastic composite that gives the pouch a rigid backbone so it holds its shape loaded, opens where you put it, and does not collapse into a bag of loose contents. Retention inside is Velcro One-Wrap and shock cord, which means you set it up for your protocol rather than the manufacturer's. Laser-cut MOLLE on the rear mounts it to a belt, a plate carrier, a bag, or directly onto the wings of the Blue Tide Medical Fanny Pack.

Use cases (when to choose this)
This is a hemorrhage-control pouch, which means it should carry the MARCH M-step answers and nothing that gets in their way.
- Duty belt or war belt bleeder — the pouch every officer and operator carries so a tourniquet is on the body, not in a bag in the trunk.
- Plate carrier or chest rig mount via the laser-cut MOLLE rear.
- Medical Fanny Pack wing mount — the fanny pack's laser-cut wings take these pouches directly, which is how you build a bleeding-control array that scales to more than one casualty.
- Vehicle and range-bag staging where the clamshell can be opened flat on a seat or tailgate.

Under TCCC and TECC, massive hemorrhage is the first thing you treat and the thing most likely to kill somebody before anything else does. A dedicated pouch exists so you are not searching a general-purpose kit for a tourniquet under pressure.
Setup and use
- Mount it where your weak hand reaches. The hand you use for medical is not always the hand that is free. Position drives whether this pouch works under stress.
- Put the tourniquet where your hand lands first. Everything else in the pouch is secondary to that one item. Configure the One-Wrap and shock cord so the tourniquet comes out first and comes out fast.
- Build the layout around the M in MARCH. Tourniquet, then hemostatic gauze, then pressure dressing, then gloves and shears. Depth in the pouch should follow order of use.
- Set retention tension deliberately. Tight enough that nothing shifts when you run, loose enough that a gloved and bloody hand can strip an item out in one motion.
- Rehearse the draw one-handed. Both hands. Eyes closed. If you cannot get the tourniquet out one-handed and blind, the layout is wrong regardless of how it looks.
- Standardize across the team. Identical layouts in identical pouches means anybody can work out of anybody's kit. This is worth more than any individual optimization.
- Inspect on a schedule. Water resistant is not sealed. Check gauze packaging integrity and tourniquet condition on a fixed interval, not when you happen to think of it.
Comparison vs common alternatives
Rigid-backed vs soft-sided bleeder pouches: the Tegris panel is the differentiator. A soft pouch loaded with heavy contents sags, shifts on the mount, and closes on itself when you open it. A rigid interior holds the opening where you put it, which matters when one hand is occupied.
Configurable retention vs sewn elastic loops: sewn loops are sized for whatever tourniquet the designer had on the bench. One-Wrap and shock cord let you fit a CAT, a SOF-T, a SAM XT, or a ratcheting device without fighting the pouch.
Bleeder pouch vs a full IFAK: different missions. An IFAK covers more of MARCH. A bleeder pouch does the M step faster and takes less real estate on the belt. Many people run both — bleeder on the body, IFAK in the bag.
Bleeder pouch vs a tourniquet holder alone: a bare TQ holder is faster to the tourniquet and nothing else. This gives you gauze and a pressure dressing in the same reach, which is what you need when the tourniquet is not the right answer — a junctional wound, a torso wound, or a bleed you can pack.

Q: Does it come with medical supplies?
A: No. This is an empty pouch. Every tourniquet, dressing, and item shown in the photography is sold separately and is there to demonstrate capacity and layout.
Q: Is the Medical Fanny Pack included?
A: No. The fanny pack is a separate listing. Its laser-cut wings are built to accept these pouches, which is why they appear together in photography.
Q: What is Tegris and why does it matter here?
A: A thermoplastic composite that is stiff and light. In this pouch it is the internal panel that keeps the shape stable when loaded and keeps the clamshell open when you open it. Without it, a loaded pouch collapses on your hand.
Q: Will it hold a windlass tourniquet?
A: Yes, and that is a primary design case. Because retention is One-Wrap and shock cord rather than fixed elastic, you can also fit ratcheting and pneumatic devices that will not go into a sewn loop.
Q: Can it mount to a plate carrier cummerbund?
A: The rear is laser-cut MOLLE, so it mounts anywhere PALS webbing or MOLLE-compatible attachment exists — belts, carriers, packs, and the fanny pack wings.
Q: Is it waterproof?
A: Water resistant, not waterproof. It sheds rain and splash. It is not a submersion barrier, and gauze packaging should still be inspected after wet exposure.
Q: Which colorway should I pick?
A: Black reads as duty gear and matches most law enforcement kit. Ranger Green and Multicam blend with field and military loadouts. Function is identical across all three.
