▾Who Carries It

Law enforcement carrying an individual kit on a duty belt or cummerbund · Military and SOF who need full-size components in an individual pouch rather than a compact-item kit · Plainclothes and off-duty carry, where the signal insert comes out and the pouch runs low-vis · Prepared civilians building an every-day-carry trauma capability around standard-size supplies.

Stock massive hemorrhage first: a evidence-based standard tourniquet carried outside or adjacent to the pouch for immediate access, hemostatic or plain gauze for wound packing, and a pressure dressing. Chest seals and an airway adjunct follow as training and scope of practice allow. A tourniquet goes high and tight over clothing when the bleeding source can't be seen or there's no time (hasty), or on bare skin 2–3 in. above the wound once it is exposed (deliberate) — never across a joint.
