Chase Tactical Low Visibility Plate Carrier - M1

The M1 configuration of the Chase Tactical LVPC — a covert-profile carrier in Mil-Spec IR-treated 500D Cordura, with a hook-and-loop front placard area, two vertical clips and internal side pouches. It is built to accept hard armor plates: Regular takes 10 in. × 12 in., Extra Large takes 11 in. × 14 in. The plates themselves are a separate purchase — nothing ballistic ships with the carrier.

Accepts 10×12 or 11×14 hard platesCarrier only — armor sourced separatelyIR-treated 500D Cordura8 live variants

A carrier carries a rating; it does not have one. Whatever level this platform ends up offering is a property of the plates and panels bought separately.

What's Included

Two sizes are live, and the size is what changes: Regular is cut for 10 in. × 12 in. plates, Extra Large for 11 in. × 14 in. Each size runs in all four colorways — Black, Ranger Green, Coyote Tan and Multicam — each with its own part number. Tap a size.

The plate sizes are what this carrier is built to receive — a compatibility specification, not a protection rating. The carrier itself holds no NIJ level, threat rating or test standard; those belong to the plates and panels sourced separately.

▾Who Carries It

Plainclothes and covert law enforcement who need a carrier that runs slick under a jacket and takes a placard when the role turns overt · Tactical teams standardizing on one platform across low-profile and full-kit configurations · Personnel operating with night vision, for whom the source-level IR treatment is the reason to choose this fabric · Agencies issuing plates centrally and buying carriers separately.

No training or scope-of-practice restriction attaches to a carrier. The caution is a procurement one: This item ships with no ballistic protection, and the level of protection the wearer ends up with is decided entirely by the plates and soft armor bought elsewhere. Confirm plate size and cut against the pocket, and record the plates’ own certification and service life separately from this carrier.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between the Chase Tactical LVPC and the LVPC M1?

The LVPC M1 is an updated iteration of the original Chase Tactical LVPC platform. While both share the core low-visibility architecture — slick exterior, elastic sides, internal side pouches, and adjustment via hook & loop — the M1 incorporates platform-level refinements including updated hardware configuration and a revised front placard system. Both accept 10"×12" plates in Regular and 11"×14" in Extra Large.

Is the LVPC M1 available in Multicam?

Yes. The Chase Tactical LVPC M1 is available in Black, Ranger Green, Coyote Tan, and Multicam in both Regular and Extra Large sizes. All colorways use Mil-Spec IR-treated 500D Cordura fabric for consistent low-IR operational performance across all variants.

Can I mount external pouches on the LVPC M1?

External pouch mounting on the M1 is achieved through the front vertical clip system and hook & loop placard area, rather than through traditional MOLLE rows on the exterior panel. This design maintains the low-visibility profile while still allowing modular attachment of pre-configured placard panels. For full exterior MOLLE access, the Chase Tactical LOPC or MEAC platforms provide more extensive MOLLE real estate.

What side plates or accessories can I add to the LVPC M1?

The LVPC M1 uses an elastic side cummerbund. Internal side pouches provide storage for magazines, tourniquets, and radios without external attachment. For operators requiring ballistic side coverage, Chase Tactical and compatible soft armor side panels can be mounted to the interior MOLLE surface of the cummerbund. The elastic construction means the cummerbund conforms to side-armor panels without creating excessive bulk.

Does the LVPC M1 come with a lifetime warranty?

Yes. Chase Tactical backs the LVPC M1 with a limited lifetime warranty on the carrier, covering manufacturing defects and material failures in the nylon construction, hardware, and stitching under normal use conditions. Damage from ballistic impacts, unauthorized modifications, or abnormal wear is excluded. Chase Tactical has a strong reputation for standing behind this warranty in the law enforcement and military communities.
