Of the kit's components, the SOF® Tactical Tourniquet – Wide (SOFTT-W) holds evidence-based standard status on the current device list; the HyFin® vented chest seal does not, the ETD is a pressure dressing, and the QuikClot BCD is not the same product as QuikClot Combat Gauze. A kit is never itself evidence-based standard — the recommendation attaches to individual devices.
