Purity V20 Safety Glasses, Clear Anti-fog Lens Purity V20 Safety Glasses
Clear anti-fog polycarbonate safety glasses rated ANSI Z87.1+ and CSA Z94.3, with 99.9 percent UV attenuation. Light enough to keep on through a call and cheap enough to stock a whole shift. Buy one pair or a box of twelve.
ANSI Z87.1+ · CSA Z94.3Clear anti-fog polycarbonate99.9% UVA / UVB / UVCSingle pair or box of 12

Eye protection fails the same way every time — it is in the bag, not on the face. Which is an argument for the box of twelve rather than the good pair.

Purity V20 Safety Glasses — specifications
Specification Detail
Manufacturer The Shopify vendor record on this product says Pyramex; the manufacturer copy supplied with the listing attributes the V20 Purity line to Honeywell. The two do not agree and have not been reconciled here — confirm the brand before ordering against a specification that names one.
Lens Clear polycarbonate, anti-fog coated
UV attenuation 99.9 percent UVA, UVB and UVC (manufacturer statement)
Impact rating ANSI Z87.1+ — the plus suffix denotes the high-impact rating rather than the basic Z87.1 requirement
Additional standard CSA Z94.3
Splash / droplet rating Not stated in the manufacturer data reproduced on this listing. Do not assume these are rated for liquid-splash protection.
Frame Clear frameless / minimal frame
Weight Approximately 6 oz packaged
Options Single Unit · Box of 12
Prescription compatibility Not stated
SKU Not published in the product data on this listing

Lens material, coating, UV attenuation, impact rating and frame description are as published in the manufacturer data supplied with this listing. Two things a buyer should read carefully. The brand attribution is inconsistent between the store's vendor field and the product copy — Pyramex and Honeywell are different manufacturers, and if you are buying against a written PPE specification that names one of them, verify before you order. And the standards: ANSI Z87.1+ and CSA Z94.3 are impact standards. The legacy copy framed these glasses as protection against blood-splash exposure during trauma care, but no splash or droplet rating is published in the manufacturer data here, and impact-rated spectacles without a splash rating are not equivalent to eye protection selected for that purpose. Where your exposure-control plan calls for splash protection, select and document eyewear that carries the rating your plan requires.

Who Carries It

EMS, fire and clinical staff who need eye protection that is actually available at the moment of a procedure rather than in a locker · Tactical medics and law enforcement carrying a spare pair in the kit · Unit supply and clinic procurement buying the box of twelve so nobody has an excuse · Training programmes and skills labs issuing eye protection per student · Range and shop use, where an impact-rated clear lens is the baseline.

Nothing about eye protection is scope-limited — anyone can and should wear it. What is governed is the selection: under a workplace exposure-control plan, PPE has to be chosen against the hazard, documented, and matched to the standard your plan names. That is your safety officer's and your employer's decision, not a purchasing one. Impact protection is what these publish. If your hazard assessment identifies splash or droplet exposure, treat that as a separate requirement and select eyewear rated for it.
