A flat rectangular UHMWPE panel built for the straight-sided pocket of a backpack, briefcase or messenger bag rather than for a plate carrier. Two sizes, sold as a bare panel. Polyethylene is the right material for a bag panel: it is non-ferromagnetic, it does not corrode, and it does not spall the way steel can. Measure the pocket before ordering — a rectangular panel needs a straight-sided pocket to sit flat. Hard armor is a wear item.
