CAT Tourniquet Pouch

The carrier North American Rescue builds for the C-A-T®, in 1000D infrared-signature-reduced Cordura®. A "TQ"-marked elastic pull tab gives visual and tactile identification and a one-motion draw, and the pouch mounts vertically or horizontally on MOLLE/PALS or rides on a duty belt. Six colorways. The tourniquet itself is sold separately.

▾Who Carries It

Military and SOF mounting the tourniquet on a carrier where the IR signature has to match the rig · Law enforcement carrying it on the duty belt so the tourniquet is reachable without opening an IFAK · EMS, fire and trained civilians, with Rescue Red for high-visibility service carry and the darker colorways for low-profile work.

TCCC doctrine is that the tourniquet should be reachable with either hand. Mount the pouch in a consistent, high-visibility position rather than under a layer of kit, and stage the C-A-T® ready to apply — windlass upright, tail through the buckle — before it goes in the pouch.
