A roughly 1.25 lb slick-front carrier in IR-treated 500D Cordura, with spacer-mesh interior panels front and rear and a double-layer elastic cummerbund carrying three internal pouches per side. The Regular size is cut for 10 in. x 12 in. plates. It is a mounting platform: The protection level is a property of the plates you seat in it, and none ship with the carrier.

Slick-front carriers earn their keep by putting the tourniquet inside the cummerbund instead of on the chest. Nothing about the carrier changes what a round does — that is entirely the plate.

What is the difference between the LVPCE and the original LVPC?

The LVPCE (Elite) adds moisture-wicking spacer mesh to the interior of both the front and rear panels, improving ventilation and thermal comfort during extended wear. The LVPCE also weighs approximately 1.25 lbs — roughly half the 2.5 lb weight of the original LVPC — and adds Multicam Black as a fifth available colorway. The core design elements (slick exterior, elastic sides, internal side pouches, vertical clip system) are shared between both models.

How does the spacer mesh interior improve wear comfort?

Spacer mesh is a three-dimensional woven fabric that creates a ventilated gap between the armor panel and the skin. This gap allows convective air circulation to dissipate body heat and draw moisture away from the torso through evaporative processes. During extended wear — particularly in warm environments or high-activity scenarios — this ventilation measurably reduces heat buildup and moisture accumulation against the body, improving sustained comfort and operational effectiveness.

What plate sizes does the LVPCE accept?

The LVPCE Regular accepts standard 10"×12" hard armor plates in Shooter's Cut or SAPI Cut formats. The Extra Large variant accepts 11"×14" plates for larger operators requiring expanded protection coverage. Both front and rear plate pockets support hard armor inserts; soft armor panels of matching dimensions can also be used as standalone protection or as hard-plate backers.

Is the LVPCE available in Multicam Black?

Yes. The LVPCE adds Multicam Black to the four colorways available in the standard LVPC (Black, Ranger Green, Coyote Tan, Multicam). Multicam Black uses the MultiCam pattern geometry in an all-black colorway, providing low-visibility pattern break-up for urban night operations or environments where standard black may create a solid silhouette.

Does the LVPCE have external MOLLE?

No, the LVPCE does not have traditional external MOLLE rows on its front or rear panels — this is by design to maintain the low-visibility profile. External pouches are added via the two vertical clips and hook & loop placard area on the front, which accept Chase Tactical's pre-configured panel accessories. The elastic cummerbund interior MOLLE allows soft armor side panel mounting internally without external protrusion.
