With removable straps, you can quickly convert the KATARA-16 into a single-shoulder VSlinger whenever you desire the quick accessibility of a slingpack. The outer top pocket has a zippered compartment, elastic webbing organization, a slip pocket, and a hook-and-loop field for ID patches. Two Hypalon MOLLE-Air side panels lets you attach our HYDRA Water Bottle Holder, or single channel MOLLE accessories. The bottom pocket is lined with 210-D high-viz orange ripstop nylon, and has room for an iPad Mini, wallets, phones etc. Behind this pocket is a hidden Hook and Loop Accessory compartment. The outside of the pocket has a low-profile laser-cut CORDURA MOLLE-Air panel for additional attachments. Inside of the KATARA, there’s a padded sleeve for tablets/Ultrabooks (up to 12") that can be accessed from the left or right side of the pack. This sleeve also doubles as a hydration bladder pocket. The front of the sleeve is lined with loop fabric for your hook-and-loop accessories. Opposite to the padded sleeve, you’ll find zippered pocket on top, and a “3-Mode” convertible pocket on the bottom. The TQ1 is made from nylon webbing as the main body and elastic webbing to provide side support and retention of a tourniquet. A hook and loop closure keeps the tourniquet in place and is vertically adjustable for shorter or longer tourniquets. A red Hypalon pull tab offers quick identification to access the tourniquet. Side elastic webbing keeps a tourniquet secured in place and offers additional gear management for gloves, a permanent marker or a needle decompression set. A slip pocket behind the TQ allows you to store full size trauma shears and can be secured in place with a snap button. Built in MOLLE attachment on the back allows you to mount the holder to any MOLLE surface where you want additional bleed control gear.  We designed the TQ1 to be compatible with the most commonly used tourniquets in the industry. FAQ: TRIDENT’s main compartment opening is asymmetrical like the JAVELINs, so is it designed more for right- or left-handed users? Answer: Both. TRIDENT is a double-shoulder backpack, and to access your gear, you can either (1) take the entire backpack off and go through your gear like any other backpack; or (2) swing the backpack to your front like a sling pack, and access the interior from the side zipper opening. Because of TRIDENT’s asymmetrical design (zipper opening on top and left), you will have to first free your right shoulder, grip the grab handle on the bottom-left of the backpack with your left hand to shift the TRIDENT to your front.
