A minimalist elastic sleeve that holds the SnakeStaff ETQ Gen 1 or Gen 2 tourniquet folded, compressed, and ready to draw. It encapsulates the exposed hook-and-loop on the ETQ strap so the tourniquet does not snag pocket lining or jacket fabric on the way out. Belt or sling carry is possible by sliding the sleeve directly onto the belt or sling; SnakeStaff recommends the Wide Width version for that role because the broader contact area holds position better.

Anyone who needs active mounting — MOLLE, a dedicated belt clip, or an IWB overhook — should step up to the Snakeskin PRO instead. This sleeve carries no hardware by design.

Velcro snag is a significant cause of delayed tourniquet deployment from pocket carry — the sleeve eliminates this hazard.

Is the Snakeskin ETQ Sleeve the same as the Snakeskin PRO?

No. The ETQ Sleeve is a basic elastic sleeve with no mounting hardware — it is primarily for pocket carry or passive belt-slide use. The Snakeskin PRO is an upgraded carrier that adds an integral Tegris OWB belt loop for active belt mounting, optional DCC clip hardware for IWB carry, and MOLLE compatibility. If you need dedicated mounting to a belt, plate carrier, or MOLLE system, choose the Snakeskin PRO. If you want the lightest, most minimal solution for pocket carry, the ETQ Sleeve is the right choice.

Yes, but with limitations. The Snakeskin ETQ Sleeve can be slid directly over a belt or sling to function as a passive friction-based tourniquet holder without any clips or hardware. SnakeStaff Systems recommends the Wide Width (1.5 in.) version for belt or sling use, as the broader surface area provides more stable retention. The Standard Width (1.0 in.) may not grip a belt securely enough for active carry. For a more reliable dedicated belt-mount solution, upgrade to the Snakeskin PRO with its rigid Tegris belt loop.

What tourniquet does the Snakeskin ETQ Sleeve fit?

The Snakeskin ETQ Sleeve is designed for the SnakeStaff ETQ (Elastic Tourniquet) Gen 1 and Gen 2, available in two widths matching the two ETQ variants: Standard Width (1.0 in.) and Wide Width (1.5 in.).
