Kydex Tourniquet TACO® Pouch
A rigid Kydex tourniquet carrier co-manufactured with Comp-Tac that holds most windlass tourniquets by friction-fit geometry alone — no elastic, no snaps, no flap to fight. Two universal clips mount it to any belt up to 2" or to MOLLE/PALS webbing. Sold empty: the tourniquet is not included.
Sold empty — pouch onlyT1 aircraft Kydex, .080"Belt up to 2" or MOLLE/PALS3.4 oz

Retention by geometry has no failure mode you have to remember under stress — you pull, and the tourniquet is in your hand.

What's Included

VIEW ▾In the Box — pouch only — no tourniquet, no medical supplies
  • 1× Kydex Tourniquet TACO® pouch shell, T1 aircraft-grade Kydex .080", item 87-0008 / retailer SKU 11TQK0BK
  • 2× HSGI Universal Clips for belt or MOLLE/PALS mounting
  • 1× "TQ" identifier loop patch
  • 1× Removable top flap for covered or open-top carry
  • TACO hole pattern on the mounting face for stacking a second TACO pouch behind the first
  • Loop-fastener exterior panels for the included TQ patch or a standard blood-type or identifier patch
  • No tourniquet, gauze, dressing or any other medical supply is included
VIEW ▾Fit, Mounting & Fill Guidance — what it holds and how it attaches
  • Exterior dimensions 2.75" L × 1.5" W × 4.5" H; weight 0.21 lb (3.4 oz)
  • Sized for most windlass-style tourniquets, including the C-A-T Gen 7, SOF-T, SOF-T Wide and SAM XT · CoTCCC-recommended devices
  • Retention is friction-fit: the Kydex shell conforms around the tourniquet body and releases on a direct one-handed pull
  • Shock-cord design lets the shell flex for minor differences between models without losing positive retention
  • Mounts to any belt up to 2" wide, or to MOLLE/PALS webbing in belt-slot or column orientation, using the two included clips — no tools
  • Also mounts to HSGI Operator and Cobra rigger belt systems, and to vehicle headrest MOLLE panels or roll-cage webbing
  • Flap on for covered carry and a reduced visual signature; flap off for the fastest extraction
  • Kydex is non-conductive, holds no water after submersion, resists sweat and most solvents, and does not deform under sustained pressure or UV
  • Fill it with a CoTCCC-recommended tourniquet — sold separately

Sold as tactical equipment, not as a medical device. Tourniquets are applied high and tight on the proximal third of the limb and never across a joint; application is bounded by training.

Who Carries It

Law enforcement patrol and SWAT mounting a tourniquet in a fixed, known belt position across a shift · Military and SOF stacking two carriers in one footprint on a battle belt or carrier · Tactical EMS needing a carrier that decontaminates with a wipe and holds no fluid · Range staff and armed civilians running a single-tourniquet on-body setup.

A tourniquet carried where a partner can find it is worth more than one buried in a pack. Standardize the position across a team, and the geometry of the Kydex shell does the rest — but only training makes the device on the end of that pull useful.
