The MARCH™ Battle Bandage was designed around two features that set it apart from traditional compression bandages: transparency and self-adhesion. With a conventional pressure bandage, once it is applied it cannot be reassessed without removal — creating uncertainty about wound status during transport. The Battle Bandage’s clear elastic wrap resolves that: blood pooling, bleed-through, and limb circulation can all be assessed visually through the wrap without disturbing the dressing. That capability is meaningful in TACEVAC scenarios where serial assessment happens during transport.

The self-adhesive mechanism removes the clips, bars, and hook-and-loop closures that are failure points in conventional pressure bandages. The medical-grade adhesive sticks to skin and to itself, is non-irritating, and leaves no residue on removal. Because the wrap adheres to itself with each pass, circumferential wrapping builds pressure progressively and locks in place without an additional securing step — which also makes it effective as an adjunct wrap over wound packing or hemostatic dressings.

The integrated 8 × 8 in sterile cotton gauze pad provides substantial coverage for mid-size to large extremity wounds and torso injuries.
