What It Is
The LXMB65 addresses one of the most practical frustrations in EMS oxygen carry: reaching the O2 cylinder normally means opening the bag and moving everything sitting on top of it. The solution is a dedicated, separately zipped O2 compartment on the side that lets a D-size cylinder — regulator already attached — slide out from the exterior, so providers can start oxygen on scene without ever opening the main compartment.
The main hold uses an all-hook-and-loop interior where removable dividers arrange to any configuration for the agency’s standard ALS loadout. The four color-coded quick-grab pouches with transparent windows pre-stage priority supplies — for example red for hemorrhage control, yellow for airway, blue for IV therapy, green for medications — and can be extracted as a unit and handed to a working partner on scene.
The diamond-embossed PVC/nylon bottom panel extends 3 inches up all four sides for abrasion resistance, fluid impermeability, and structural support that resists collapse when set on rough surfaces. Lime-yellow/silver triple-trim reflective tape with reinforced binding provides 360-degree visibility in roadway and low-light environments, and the Star of Life on the top flap is silver reflective material for added conspicuity.
External Storage & Access
Four external compartments plus a mesh flap pocket and elastic airway loops provide extensive exterior staging. Elastic loops inside the O2 compartment hold oral and nasal airways in secure, organized positions, saving seconds during airway emergencies. The heavy-duty two-way locking zippers secure the bag during transport or allow controlled-substance accountability while still permitting rapid opening on scene.
