What is included in the Medical Oxygen Fill Kit ECHO?
The ECHO kit includes: an Aluminum D Oxygen Cylinder with Post Valve, an Oxygen Regulator (0–15 LPM), an AMBU Bag (Bag Valve Mask), two Non-Rebreather Masks, two Nasal Cannula Tubing sets, a Berman Airway Kit, and a Cylinder Wrench. All components are selected and assembled in-house by MED-TAC staff including current and former first responders.
What does the 0-15 LPM regulator allow for?
A variable 0–15 LPM regulator covers the full clinical oxygen delivery range: 1–6 LPM via nasal cannula for mild supplemental support, 6–10 LPM via simple face mask, and 10–15 LPM via non-rebreather mask for high-concentration oxygen delivery (up to 90–95% FiO₂) in acute hypoxia, cardiac emergencies, or toxicological events.
Can the ECHO oxygen kit be added to a MED-TAC medical bag?
Yes. MED-TAC's oxygen fill kit series, including the ECHO, is designed to be purchased as standalone kits or integrated into any MED-TAC bag system. The kit contents can be added to oxygen kit compartments in medical bags, or the entire assembly can be carried separately as a standalone oxygen delivery system.
What is a Berman airway kit?
A Berman airway kit contains oral airway adjuncts (Berman or similar oropharyngeal airways/OPAs) in assorted sizes for maintaining airway patency in unconscious or semi-conscious patients. OPAs prevent the tongue from occluding the posterior pharynx, keeping the airway open for spontaneous breathing or bag-mask ventilation.
Is this oxygen kit appropriate for home respiratory emergency use?
Yes. MED-TAC designed the ECHO kit for both emergency responders and individuals with home respiratory conditions who need immediate oxygen access. The kit provides immediate supplemental oxygen capability without requiring full EMS deployment, and is appropriate for families with members who have heart disease, COPD, or severe asthma where rapid oxygen access can be life-saving.
