A wider band distributes occlusion pressure over a larger tissue surface area, which can reduce localized compression intensity during prolonged application and improve seating on proximal-thigh wounds where a narrow band may purchase less effectively.
The TMT™ combines a hook-and-loop closure familiar from the C-A-T with a quick-detach windlass retention clip, giving a hybrid application sequence that trains cleanly for users coming from either C-A-T or SOF® platforms.
