Most med pouches are designed for storage, not access. The TORK pouch is designed around the retrieval event: Red-Tip Technology® provides a single-pull open that works with gloves, under stress, and in the dark. The MOLLE/PALS attachment system mounts to any assault vest or plate carrier. TAA-compliant construction makes it eligible for GSA and federal procurement.
Why Red-Tip Technology®?
The red tip is a visual index under stress — you reach for the bag, find the tip, pull. One motion, full access. Standard zipper pouches require two-handed opening, fumbling for a zipper pull, or removing a securing flap before content access is available. Under stress, in low light, with gloves, those extra steps cost seconds. The TORK eliminates them. If you're building a vest loadout for a provider who needs fast access, the pouch platform matters as much as the contents inside it.
Why the TORK Pouch
One-Pull Access
Red-Tip Technology® — single-pull open with gloves, under stress.
MOLLE/PALS Ready
Mounts to any PALS-webbed vest, carrier, or panel.
TAA Compliant
Trade Agreements Act compliant — eligible for GSA and federal procurement.
Quick Detach Compatible
Works with NAR Quick Detach Panels (sold separately).
Procurement Compliance
TAA compliant. The TORK pouch meets Trade Agreements Act requirements and is eligible for GSA Schedule and federal civilian agency procurement.
Berry Amendment is a separate standard. TAA and the Berry Amendment are not interchangeable. Berry (10 U.S.C. § 4862) governs DoD textile purchases and requires domestic origin from fiber through final assembly; TAA (19 U.S.C. § 2501) permits manufacture in the United States or any designated country. North American Rescue offers a distinct Berry Amendment nylon standard on select configurations. If your solicitation cites Berry rather than TAA, contact us before ordering so we can confirm which configuration applies and provide the corresponding certification.
Country of Origin documentation and NSN information are available on request for contract and solicitation packages.

When to Use the TORK Pouch (Bag Only)
- Custom protocol loadout: Units with agency-specific medical protocols that differ from standard TORK kit configurations purchase the pouch separately and load it to their exact protocol. TAA-compliant construction supports federal and GSA Schedule purchasing.
- Replacing a worn or damaged TORK pouch: Operators with existing TORK content sets who need a new carrier purchase the pouch only — contents transfer directly. The original NAR TORK pouch maintains the indexed organization and Red-Tip access that third-party pouches can’t replicate.
- Building a TORK-style kit from individual components: Medics who source individual components — tourniquet, hemostatic agent, pressure dressing — to build a specific loadout use the TORK pouch as the platform. Interior volume accommodates standard IFAK components.
- Secondary or backup vest-mounted med pouch: Operators who carry a primary IFAK and a secondary smaller med pouch mount the TORK as the secondary carrier. One-pull access makes it viable as a rapid-access backup in the event the primary pouch is inaccessible.
- Institutional purchase for kit refit programs: Agencies refitting aging TORK kits purchase replacement pouches in bulk. TAA compliance simplifies federal procurement. Contents from existing kits that remain serviceable are retained; only the pouch carrier is replaced.

How the TORK Pouch Compares
TORK Pouch vs. TORK Kit (with contents): The TORK Pouch is the carrier only — no medical supplies included. The TORK Kit ships pouch-plus-contents in tiered configurations (Basic, Basic w/Combat Gauze, Advanced). If you need the pouch already loaded, order the TORK Kit. If you’re building a custom loadout or replacing a pouch, order the pouch only.
TORK Pouch vs. generic MOLLE med pouches: Generic pouches may lack the Red-Tip Technology access system that makes the TORK distinctive. The TORK’s interior is organized for indexed access — components ride in a specific position so retrieval is possible without visual confirmation. Generic pouches treat all contents as undifferentiated — you dig for what you need.
TORK Pouch vs. soft-pack IFAK pouches: Soft packs compress and can mount in tight spaces; they sacrifice interior organization. The TORK maintains a semi-rigid profile that keeps indexed items in position. Choose based on whether your mounting position and protocol prioritize minimal profile or organized fast access.
