Which TORK tier is CoTCCC-recommended?

The TORK Basic with Combat Gauze® is aligned to CoTCCC Recommended Items for hemostatic dressings and hemorrhage control. The Advanced tier adds ARS and NPA — items within the scope of appropriately trained providers under CoTCCC PFC guidelines.

Can anyone carry the Advanced TORK tier?

The Advanced tier contains a needle-decompression kit and NPA — interventions that require provider training and credentialing. Deploying advanced airway and thoracic items should be limited to operators with the appropriate scope of practice under your agency or unit medical authority.

Is the TORK Kit available for government procurement with an NSN?

Yes, available in Berry Amendment nylon standard. Contact MED-TAC International or North American Rescue for current NSN, CAGE code, and DLA procurement information by tier.

What is the difference between the TORK Kit and the CORE Kit?

The CORE (Compact Officer Response Emergency Kit) is designed for plain-clothes and plain-vehicle staging. The TORK is a full-volume IFAK system designed for vest-mounted carry with Red-Tip access. For patrol officers needing discreet staging, the CORE may be more appropriate.

Can the TORK Kit contents be resupplied individually?

Yes. Individual components — Combat Gauze®, HyFin Chest Seal, CAT tourniquet, NPA — are available separately through MED-TAC International for restocking after deployment or training use.
