When the TQ-RAM is installed and the TMT is tightened, the windlass tension drives the dome against a wound site or packed injury to maintain consistent, hands-free direct pressure. This frees the responder to perform other interventions while the TMT+TQ-RAM combination maintains hemorrhage control. The RAP Carrier Kit uses a nylon soft pouch with MOLLE weave backing, adds the TQ-RAM accessory, and is optimized for quick gloved-hand deployment from aid bags or chest rigs. The RAP Carrier Kit is better suited for medic packs; the Rigid Holster SET is better suited for individual operator belt or plate carrier carry.
