Eleven 10® RIGID TQ Case® — C-A-T®, SOF®TT & TMT™

A hard-sided, injection-moulded case that holds a rolled tourniquet by friction alone — no flap, no buckle, no elastic to stretch out. One gross-motor pull, either hand, and the tourniquet is out. The case is moulded to the tourniquet it carries, so choose the cut that matches the device you actually carry: C-A-T® Gen 7, SOF®TT / SOF®TT-W, or the TMT™. Case only — the tourniquet is purchased separately.

A pouch that has to be opened is a pouch that can be opened wrong. A friction case has one failure mode — the tourniquet comes out — and that is the mode you want under stress.

Choosing Your Configuration

Two choices: which tourniquet the case is cut for, and how it mounts. Both are required — the case body differs between models and is not interchangeable. Tap a section for the detail.

VIEW ▾Tourniquet Model — the case is moulded to one device

C-A-T® Gen 7 — the Combat Application Tourniquet, Cross Front carry. Also accepts earlier C-A-T® generations.
SOF®TT / SOF®TT-W — one case body accepts both the standard SOF® Tactical Tourniquet and the Wide version.
TMT™ — the Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet. Cut for the TMT's wider 2 in. band and windlass profile.
A tourniquet will not seat correctly in a case cut for a different device. Match the case to the tourniquet on your person, not to the one in the truck.

VIEW ▾Attachment — belt or MOLLE, shipped installed

Belt (TEK-LOK) — Blade-Tech TEK-LOK, fits belts up to 2.25 in. Opens and repositions without unthreading the belt, and rotates for vertical, horizontal or canted carry. The heavier of the two.
MOLLE (Malice Clip) — Tactical Tailor Malice Clip for MOLLE/PALS webbing on a plate carrier, chest rig or pack. Lighter, and it sits flatter against the platform.
Hardware ships attached. The case body is the same either way, so a TEK-LOK case can be converted to Malice Clips later with separate hardware.

What does 'Cross Front' mean on the Eleven 10 RIGID TQ Case?

The 'Cross Front' designation refers to the mounting orientation of the case — it is configured for placement at the front centerline of a duty or tactical belt, oriented so the tourniquet can be accessed with a cross-draw motion using either hand. Unlike a standard RIGID TQ Case mounted at the 3 or 9 o'clock belt position (accessible primarily by the same-side hand), the Cross Front placement at 12 o'clock allows both the dominant and non-dominant hand to reach the tourniquet, which is critical for self-application to either arm.

Why is front-center the recommended tourniquet carry position for self-application?

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) training both emphasize front-center carry because it is the only belt position accessible by both hands. If your dominant-side arm is injured, you must apply the tourniquet with your non-dominant hand — a front-center tourniquet case makes this possible. Side-mounted pouches (3 or 9 o'clock) are inaccessible to the opposite hand in most body positions. Additionally, a front-center tourniquet is visible and accessible to a teammate or bystander who needs to apply it to you if you are incapacitated.

Is the Cross Front case the same injection-molded case as the standard Eleven 10 RIGID TQ Case?

Yes. The Cross Front variant uses the same injection-molded nylon case body as the standard Eleven 10® RIGID TQ Case for the C-A-T® Gen 7. The difference is the mounting hardware configuration — the TEK-LOK attachment is oriented for cross-front belt carry. Both use friction retention (no straps, buckles, or covers), both include a drainage hole, and both include a PVC medical cross identifier. The standard variant is typically mounted at the 3, 4, or 9 o'clock belt positions; the Cross Front is specifically configured for front-center placement.

Can the Cross Front RIGID TQ Case also be mounted on a MOLLE vest?

The Cross Front RIGID TQ Case ships with a Blade-Tech TEK-LOK belt attachment designed for duty belts up to 2.25 inches. Like all Eleven 10® RIGID TQ Cases, the case body features two-screw mounting holes that are compatible with Tactical Tailor Malice Clips (sold separately) for MOLLE/PALS vest mounting. However, the cross-front mounting concept — bilateral hand access at the front centerline — is most relevant for belt carry. On a plate carrier, the equivalent front-center position would typically be the low-ready or belt-line area.

Does the Cross Front case fit the CAT Gen 7 specifically?

Yes. The Eleven 10® RIGID TQ Case for CAT – Cross Front is designed for the C-A-T® Gen 7 tourniquet (sold separately at MED-TAC International). Eleven 10® notes that the RIGID TQ Case is also compatible with older C-A-T® generations through the same friction-fit design. The case is not designed for other tourniquet brands — for SOFTT-W or SAM XT tourniquets, Eleven 10® manufactures separate RIGID TQ Case variants for those specific TQ bodies.
