Oxygen Reservoir Tube (Box of 10)
The reusable supplemental-oxygen reservoir for the SAVe II and SAVe II+ ventilators (SKU F20072-10). Fits over the air intake port and enables oxygen titration to the ventilated patient. Sold in a box of 10 to match the 10-patient Starter Bundle.
What is the Oxygen Reservoir Tube? It is the OEM-specified reservoir that lets the SAVe II / II+ deliver oxygen-enriched inspiratory gas. The ventilators run on room air by default; when a patient needs supplemental oxygen — as in the majority of serious medical and trauma emergencies — the reservoir must be connected to the intake port and fed from an external oxygen source.

Use Cases
- Supplemental Oxygen Delivery During Mechanical Ventilation: Connects to the SAVe II/II+ air intake port to titrate supplemental oxygen — essential for trauma, respiratory failure, or any patient requiring FiO₂ above 21% during ventilatory support.
- Far-Forward Combat Casualty Care: Enables the SAVe II+ medic to deliver oxygen-enriched ventilation when an E-cylinder, soft-pack O₂ system, or TCCC oxygen source is available at point of injury or CASEVAC.
- EMS and Air Medical Transport: Used by air medical crews and ground EMS when ventilating patients during transport on supplemental oxygen — the reservoir connects to onboard or portable O₂ supply.
- 10-Patient Starter Bundle Resupply Match: The box-of-10 quantity is specifically designed to match the 10-patient SAVe II+ Starter Bundle (SKU 25-010-xx) consumable increment, simplifying resupply logistics.
- Multi-Ventilator Fleet Pre-Staging: Organizations maintaining SAVe II+ ventilator fleets pre-stage oxygen reservoirs with each ventilator to ensure readiness without delay when patients requiring O₂ supplementation are encountered.
Oxygen Reservoir vs HME Filter vs Noise Attenuator: Air Intake Port Accessory Selection
- Port Occupancy: The O₂ reservoir, HME filter, and noise attenuator all connect to the same air intake port of the SAVe II/II+. Only one can be installed at a time.
- O₂ Reservoir (F20072-10): Use when supplemental oxygen delivery is required. Connects external O₂ source to ventilator intake to increase inspired FiO₂ above room air.
- HME Filter (E32113-10): Use when O₂ is not required and airway humidification / particulate filtration is the priority. Provides passive heat-moisture exchange for the ventilated airway.
- Noise Attenuator (M41112-5): Use when neither O₂ supplementation nor HME filtration is required and noise management is the priority. Dampens ventilator operational noise.
- Clinical Priority: When patient oxygenation is compromised, the O₂ reservoir takes clinical priority over the HME filter and noise attenuator. Remove these before connecting the reservoir.
