Public Access INDIVIDUAL Bleeding Control Kit - Vacuum Sealed
A single-casualty hemorrhage control kit vacuum-sealed into a 7 × 5 × 2.75 in. flat pack. The sealed clear poly pouch protects gloves and gauze from humidity through years of storage and stacks several kits into one AED cabinet drawer. Four kit types, from tourniquet-and-gauze Basic to QuikClot® Combat Gauze®.

A public-access kit may sit three years between inspections. The seal is not packaging convenience — it is what keeps the contents usable on the day nobody planned for.

Kit Contents by Configuration

Every kit type ships the same base loadout in the same ruggedized vacuum-sealed pouch. What changes is the chest seal and the hemostatic. Kit Types: Basic · Intermediate · Advanced w/Bleeding Control Dressing · Advanced w/Combat Gauze. Tap a configuration.

The vacuum seal is a storage format. The C-A-T® deploys normally out of a compressed pouch; the seal opens by tear-notch or by cutting.

Who Carries It

Facilities and AED programs co-locating trauma capability inside an existing cabinet, where the flat profile lets several kits stack in one drawer · Long-term cache and government stock-rotation programs that go years between inspections · Space-constrained sites — vehicle consoles, desk drawers, toolboxes — where a nylon bag will not fit · Public Access station resupply, as the replacement unit for a vacuum-sealed 5-pack or 8-pack station.

Every item in this kit is within bystander scope of practice, and a just-in-time instruction card is sealed inside. Two program habits matter more than the tier you buy: inspect the seal during the annual safety audit rather than assuming it is intact, and rehearse the open-and-deploy sequence so the first person to reach the kit is not learning the tear-notch under stress.
