The ARK system was developed with law enforcement and military end-users for active-threat response, and its defining feature is the Casualty Throw Kit strategy: seven individually packaged, bi-lingual kits that can be thrown or handed to bystanders so they can self-treat or buddy-treat while the primary responder concentrates on the most critical casualties. The standard ARK delivers extremity hemorrhage control, wound packing, and chest-wound management across the seven-casualty load. The evacuation configurations add a Foxtrot Litter (standard) or Foxtrot DA dual-access litter — both engineered by TacMed for confined-space and single-rescuer extraction in warm-zone environments. The included TacMed Surgical Airway Kit with tracheal hook extends the bag’s airway capability beyond the NPA, intended for advanced providers credentialed and operating within their scope of practice.
